How Long Does A Cell Phone Last

Right now IMHO the limiting factor is the battery as most phones are no longer user replaceable.
How long does a cell phone last. However it may not get software updates for five years. I bought a Micromax phone with Android Gingerbread 235 back in the early days in the year 2013. I have a Galaxy S5 and have had it about 2 and a half years.
That goes for iPhones Androids or any of the other varieties of devices that are on the market. Apples iPhones last a long time anywhere from six to seven years in my personal experience. I have had cordless phones but got rid of the last Sony.
Depending on how you treat the phone it can last a very long time or a very short time. If the industry starts using Samsungs battery tech as featured in their S8 S8 and Note 8 lines which promises about a 5 battery capacity decline after 2 years then you could easily get 3 to 4 years out of them. Yes a smartphone can last five years.
Reason can be broadly classified in two divisions. Ive noticed Smartphone manufacturers have made the cable wires thinner and cheaper on build quality. Ad Leader in 5G with great deals.
Can your phone last longer than 2-3 years. Depends on the build quality. If its less than 4 years old I would expect to get another 2-3 years out of it before noticing a drop in speed.
Wondering if I should get a new battery Layne the life a battery is measured in charge c. However there are some proactive measures you can take to keep your phone running the two to three years that most smartphones typically last. In fact after a year of use the batteries will probably only run the transmitter for 3 hours.
